Step-by-Step Guide
Gaženica Ferry Terminal
Your island adventure begins here. After picking up your e-bike at the terminal, head straight to the boarding ramp to catch the ferry to Ugljan.
Ferry Crossing to Preko
The crossing takes approximately 25 minutes. Head to the top deck for the best views of the Zadar skyline as it fades into the distance.
Preko Marina & Waterfront
Welcome to Ugljan! Disembark and enjoy a scenic ride through the charming marina. The atmosphere here is much more relaxed than the mainland, capturing the true slow-paced Dalmatian vibe. To feel like a local, order a "Veliki Macchiato" at one of the waterfront cafes.
Beach Jaz
Cruise along the coastline to Beach Jaz, the island's most famous sandy beach. The turquoise waters are shallow and crystal clear—perfect for a quick dip.
The Ascent to the Peak
Time to let the e-bike show its power. Switch your motor to "Sport" or "Turbo" mode as you begin the winding, paved climb toward the historic fortress.
St. Michael's Fortress
The crown jewel of the trip. From this 13th-century fort, you will enjoy a breathtaking 360-degree panoramic view of the Zadar archipelago and its 200+ islands.
The Descent & Return
Enjoy an effortless, breezy glide back down the hill toward the port of Preko. It is a smooth ride that leads you directly back to the ferry for your return to Zadar.
